Lone Writer's relationship with 4Wheel Drive & Sport Utility Magazine is in its fifth year.  The name has now been shortened to 4Wheel Drive Magazine but the content remains the same. We will continue to provide one travel story every month for 2012. They have received a lot of compliments about our stories in the past so they are keeping us around.  Please keep those compliments coming.

As with everyone, the cost of gasoline has slowed us down some.  We can't get as far on a dollar as we used to.  Maybe if our politicians ever get that Canadian oil line put in, things will get better.  

It won't be long before the summer warms up and the mountains thaw out, a few ghost town trips will sneak into the schedule.  We continue exploring the Mormon Trail from Nauvoo, ILL.  It is a series in Tales & Trails that begins with Butch Cassidy's grandparents from England to the US.
